To assist the Financial Controller and Plant Manager in all aspects of Finance, HR and Payroll.

Purchase Ledger – checking and posting invoices

Sales Ledger – raising sales invoices

Accounts Receivable reports

Accounts Payable reports

Bank postings

Credit Control

Preparation of VAT Return and EC Sales Lists

Payment runs for UK and overseas customers BACS payments and bank payments

General Filing

Other tasks as requested

 

 

Recording sickness & holiday

Weekly & Monthly pay runs

Submissions to HMRC

Weekly report to show hours worked, employee numbers etc.

Keeping personnel records up to date

Processing Starters and Leavers

Pension Admin

Dealing with Sick Pay (SSP), Maternity Pay and Paternity Pay

Payroll year-end processing

 

 

HR cover

First point of call for staff issues, in liaison with Financial Controller and Plant Manager

 

 

Systems used:

Accounting Software: Plex Systems. This is an ERP System.  Full training will be given.

Payroll – SAGE payroll
