Warehouse Supervisor

Our client is a third-Party Logistics (3PL), supply chain and warehouse solutions provider in delivering customized end-to-end logistics, warehousing and supply chain services.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your key role will be to supervise warehouse staff and all activities in warehouse for efficient and effective operation of daily business. For this role, teamwork with other supervisors, stock controllers, warehouse staff, analysts and management team members is critical.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily planning and arrangement of warehouse manpower
  • Mobilize warehouse operatives and forklift drivers as per day-to-day needs.
  • Supervise and receive inbound & outbound shipments.
  • Monitor and control time keeping of all warehouse staff.
  • Monitor and control performance of all warehouse team
  • Coordinate with Analysts to ensure all warehouse team get pick-lists, labels and dispatch notes on time.
  • Take responsibility as Health and Safety lead in warehouse and inform management of any concerns.
  • Ensure forklift drivers complete pre-use checklist on daily basis before driving Forklift trucks.
  • Ensure forklift charging units and other equipment in warehouse are well maintained to avoid any issues / interruption in daily operations.
  • Arrange daily cleaning of WH Shop floor and yards in the front and back.
  • Arrange collection of wooden pallets, plastic/cardboard bales and change of skips.
  • Train and mobilize warehouse operatives for plastic and cardboard bailing.
  • Carry out other related works as per the guidance and instruction of management.

 Skill and Job Requirements:

  •  Good working skill of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Express
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, stock control and supply chain environment
  • Experience of managing and supervising team in a warehousing environment
  • Experience of using bar code scanners and using a Warehouse Management system
  • Skill and experience of forklift driving would be an added advantage


Monday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm.

Salary:        £23,000.00 to £27,000.00 (negotiable based on skill and experience)
