We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team based in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the specialist water and wastewater process industry, manufacturing and fabricating high-quality components and equipment for a range of projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of bespoke stainless steel and mild steel products, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld components from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials.
- Assemble and fit fabricated parts and structures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the production team.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder.
- Competent in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
