SME National Business Awards 2019 logoOh yes! Watton Recruitment made the finals for the Best Customer Service in the UK at the SME National Business Awards. The team tied in their Christmas party with a glitz and glamour awards night at Wembley Stadium on Friday 6th December.

We may not have won but to reach the finals by public vote is a real achievement. We are so very grateful to everyone who voted and got behind us. We will aim to keep up the high level and personable service throughout 2020 and beyond.

Philomena Watton often gives up her time to support local organisations with CV writing workshops or advice and general help within the recruitment sector.

Philomena Watton sharing her experience of recruitment with students at Bedford CollegeThis October, Philomena headed up Bedford College’s business classes, teaching students about the world of recruitment. She put together some dud CVs and had an interactive day with the students. Even though she was out of her comfort zone, Philomena enjoyed working with a fab bunch of students.

Making Christmas Epic 2018

2018 saw Watton Recruitment finish their year in true community spirit, continuing their support to the women and children currently within safe houses in Bedford after fleeing domestic violence. Watton Recruitment pledge every year to make sure every child in these safe houses receive a main present from Father Christmas and that all Mums receive a hamper for themselves. With the support of other local businesses, we were able to fulfil this commitment yet again.
