Late Shift Supervisor

An experienced Team leader/supervisor within the logistics and distribution sector is required for our ever growing, industry unaffected client

Leading a team of upto 33 forklift drivers and pickers.

• KPI awareness
• a good understanding of warehouse WMS systems
• Allocated a designated function to maintain and drive performance within that function
• Full coverage on the last point of dispatch, average of four doors to cover by each, supporting the team and ensuring that drop sequence requirements and load standards are met
• Ensuring that Health and safety practises are Managed, met and maintained
• To drive morale and teamwork
• Performance management, supporting all colleagues to achieve the expected minimum target
• Aiding in pick and dispatch functions, the role requires a hands on approach
• Investigating and reporting errors to ensure prevention of recurrence
• Working closely with all other departments to ensure all customer service levels are met and maintained
• Maintaining site standards to a high specification, in each of their designated areas
• Mentoring and training colleagues on standards and expectations
• Covering other functions when and where required
• Ensuring all deliveries leave the DC with high QA and standards for customer excellence
• Flexibility in working hours to meet the business needs

A Valid reach license would be an advantage as this is a hands on role and all aspects of the picking and packing team would be required from you to.
