Reach FLT Driver (late shift)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Reach Forklift Truck Driver to join our warehouse team on a late shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing and replenishing stock throughout the warehouse, while maintaining high standards of health and safety and accuracy.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who works well in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is confident operating a reach forklift truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach forklift truck in accordance with company procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Load, unload and move pallets and stock within the warehouse.
• Put stock away into designated racking locations, including high-level racking.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available for picking and dispatch.
• Carry out stock movements accurately using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required.
• Complete daily forklift safety checks and report any defects immediately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, including manual handling and safe working practices.
• Work closely with warehouse colleagues, supervisors and other departments to meet daily targets.
• Support general warehouse duties when required.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently within the required timeframes.

Requirements

• Valid and recognised Reach Forklift Truck licence/certification.
• Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to carry out warehouse duties when required.
• Flexibility to work the required late-shift hours.
