Our Bedford based client are currently looking for a warehouse & stock lead to look after a small warehouse. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.30 to 4.30. This will be a permanent position. The is a new position which you can make your own as would be dealing with all aspects of the warehouse operation..
The job involves:-
- Implementing new ideas for the smooth running of the warehouse
- Using previous experience within a warehouse to make changes as and where required
- Leading procedures that may need to be made
- Also picking, packing & palletising
- Making sure there is adequate stock of each item to meet customer demand
- Must have a can do attitude towards work
- Supervisory experience would be advantageous but only managing 1 member of staff
The person specification:-
- Excellent organised skills
- Experience in warehouse systems & procedures
- Ideally hold a valid Counterbalance License
