Pathways to Employment

Watton Recruitment have extended their support to the Kings Arms Project, attending their monthly workshops for CV writing and interview techniques. We have been able to offer mentoring services and currently have a volunteer from the project working alongside us.

We are excited to be continuing this into 2017 and have chosen them as not only our charity of the year but for Bedfordshire Business Women too.

Summer is here!

As the temperatures hit 30 degrees and above, Sue and Debs went out and about to deliver frozen cocktails and ice pops to all our clients.

We have never known our goodie drop-offs to be so popular! We still have a freezer full of them, so are hoping the weather picks back up again for us to continue our rounds.

Pathways to Employment

Watton Recruitment have been involved with the Pathways to Employment scheme run by the Kings Arms Project. This course is run to help Bedford’s homeless community get back into employment. Philomena’s part has been to offer advice on interview techniques and help with confidence by conducting practice interviews. She has now helped with two of these courses and is looking forward to the next.

CV Writing Course

Watton Recruitment ran a free CV Writing course for the parents attending FACES, a local charity. They offered their time and knowledge for free to help struggling parents get back into employment.

The feedback was fantastic and Watton Recruitment would be more than happy to attend and or run another course in the future.
