This Company is a small family run business that manufactures and installs a wide range of furniture and joinery products across all market sectors throughout the whole of the UK and abroad. They are a very diverse company with a large portfolio. They have a very friendly and dedicated workforce that all pull together to ensure we meet deadlines and customer expectations.

The work they undertake is very much a manual and physical job with lifting of large, heavy and sometimes awkward items. The work will be very diverse, installing a wide variety of cabinetry and joinery items, including but not limited to the following:

·Reception desks

·Bars and serveries

·Kitchens

·Wardrobes

·Seating

·Wall and ceiling panelling

·Credenzas

·Display units

You would be working with a wide range of materials including real wood veneers, solid timber, MDF, laminate, melamine boards, glass, stone, metalwork, Corian and other solid surface materials.

Competencies

1. Use of hand held routers, jigsaws, planers, saws, and general hand held power tools

2. Experienced and proficient in scribing ‘fitted’ furniture

3. Experienced in undertaking masons mitres

4. Solid surface experience is preferred but not essential

5. Reading of workshop/installation drawings

6. Construction and installation of cabinetry and joinery items such as the items listed above

Working Hours

47.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri)

Due to the nature of the work there is usually overtime available. Overtime is paid at time + quarter.

Salary : DOE ( Depending on Experience )
