Service controller

Team work is essential but you must also be able to work on your own initiative. Excellent attention to detail must be shown and you must also demonstrate a methodical and thorough approach to work. An ability to juggle tasks and keep calm under pressure is also required.
Standard Duties:

Include but not be limited to;
• Warranty Management and Liaison
• Planning of Breakdown/Servicing jobs and managing and booking in a spreadsheet of outstanding works.
• Management of Sales Orders including weekly meetings to resolve outstanding jobs
• Overseeing the Stock Processes
• Input jobs on one link system
• Dealing with incoming Service emails and phone calls
• Overseeing the Service Calendar (Outlook)
• Managing Engineer whereabouts and schedules
• Ensuring tasks carried out are subject to quality control and sign off
• Booking and Managing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI’s) of new vehicles
• Liaison with sales regarding PDI’s, Delivery Dates and Warranty Expiry
• Co-ordinate the completion of sales orders for month end and liaise with Finance

Responsibilities:
Comply with all aspects of our policies and follow published procedures where applicable. Maintain a culture of best practice by attending training courses, both internal and external when and where appropriate.
